Be Thankful

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!
AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
One of my lessons for the week is being thakful. Yesterday my dad, mom, brother, and me went to Kohls to return a pair of tennis shoes so I could get a pair I liked a little more. After two hours of shopping for some I found nothing and left the store with empty hands. I saw this pair of black and white tennis shoes. They're nikes. And I loved them! Well I couldn't get them and after I saw those shoes I really wanted nothing else. After that I was picky. Cause all I really wanted was that shoe.  Anywho, I got a pair of shoes at another store after getting the big talk with my dad. I liked them a lot though. Anyway, my point is we need to be thankful. That's something I've failed at this week. We deserve nothing of this. Only to be sent to hell. But God have forgiven us and gave us so much. Even when we sin against him so much everyday. He has been gracious to us. Thank you Jesus! There are kids around the country with no shoes, a home, a bed, or a bible. People around the world REJOICE for just one page of the bible in their language. And I have what like 20 bibles in my whole house. We have so much to be thankful for. God is so good to us! And let me share this lyric that I love form the song "Amen, He Lives" By Matt Maher.
Because He lives
I can face tomorrow
I just love this lyric because it reminds me of how God died on the cross for me. For the people who wanted to kill him. For Pilot. For me. For my family.
Because he lives I can face tomorrow. Thank you Jesus.
And last of all I have a post I posted on my group blog a long time ago.
I hope you like!
Sometimes we are so caught up in what we can have that we forget what we have.
We forget that that we don’t deserve anything.
Not our family.
Not a bed.
Not even a single penny.
So why should we want more.
Sometimes I like to think of all the big blessings God has given me.
Even the little ones too.
Like my bed.
And my family.
My education.
Food.
Technology where we can communicate with long distance friends.
A bible.
A notebook and pencil.
Some people have none of these things.
They live in a little house.
They go days without eating.
And they don’t have shoes to wear outside.
Why do I want so much more when I do not even deserve anything.
And while others just pray for a meal.
I want something like a shiny bicycle.
Thank you God for blessing me with all these many many blessing.
Although I deserve none of them.
You give them to me.
When others hated you and spit on you.
You died for them.
Thank you Jesus!

Hope you like!
Comment your comments on this post!
Thanks!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Christmas Photography!

Christmas is music and family in town
Christmas is snoopy and Charlie brown

It's anticipating that snows going to fall
And praying for someplace to park at the mall
It’s mom going crazy cuz the turkey got burned
It saying thanks for some gift you’ll return
Christmas is caroling kids at your door
It's paper and ribbon all over the floor

Christmas is coming, Christmas is near
I’ve been counting down the days all year
Christmas is almost here
Christmas is rooftops covered in lights
It’s away in the manger, It’s a wonderful life
Christmas is caring for those who got nothing
It’s dropping your change in the bell ringers bucket
Christmas is coming, Christmas is near
I’ve been counting down the days all year
Christmas is almost here
Christmas is all of these fun things for sure
But, Christmas is really, oh so much more.

It’s good news of hope for the whole world to because
Christmas is Jesus
Christmas is coming, Christmas is near
I’ve been counting down the days
I’ve been counting down the days
I’ve been counting down the days all year

 Christmas is almost here
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.

The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.

I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever, and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care,
And take us to heaven, to live with Thee there.

Today I got to be in a Christmas play.

I'm not sure about that, I have had a lot of sweet, family, Christmas memories.

GingerBread Men! Sometimes we (me & my Mom) make them into members of our family, with each of our own little quirky things.

One favorite ornament of mine is these little Christmas balls that my family's had. My older sister gave them to my Mom, and they are different colors with sparkly snowflakes painted on their sides.

4. Do you have a  Real tree or fake tree?
We always get a real tree...to me, you just can't beat the fresh smell, foresty look, and whole Christmas appearance.

Joy to the World. I also like Carol of the Bells (especially when the Muppets sing it!).

6. One Christmas present you're really excited to give to someone?

And here are her answers for my questions...

1. What is one of your favorite Christmas memories?
Just one?? I have WAY too many! A favourite of mine is when I was younger, I would count down the minutes until we could get up to open presents! I would lay awake in bed staring at the clock! ;P

Hmm…I love sugar cookies mainly because you can make so many different shapes and decorate the cookie, but I also have a ton of fun with making ninja bread cookies!

3. Describe one of your favorite Christmas ornaments.
I have a LOT of ornaments. I’ve gotten one every year since I was born. So I have like 16 now, or something like that. I think my favourite one might be my doughnut one. I always hang it near the top. It’s glass, and the doughnut has chocolate frosting and red, green, and white sprinkles!

4. Do you have a  Real tree or fake tree?
Both fake! We have two trees. BUT… we have to keep out cats locked out of the schoolroom THE WHOLE CHRISTMAS SEASON because….our cats eat the trees‼ They climb in them and try to eat the actual tree, and the decorations, AND the lights! Silly kitties‼!

5. What is your favorite Christmas song?
I’m going to be perfectly honest, I don’t listen to a lot of Christmas music. I have been enjoying the Greatest Time of Year, by Aly and AJ though!

Hmm…watching Christmas  movies, decorating for Christmas, making Christmas cookies, things like that!

9. Favorite thing to do around Christmas time?
All the things I stated above in question 8! Anything Christmas-y really! ;)

10. Have your ever slept under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve?
Nope, never‼ ;P

11. Favorite Christmas food you eat at Christmas dinner?
Honestly, I really don’t have a favourite‼

12. Have you ever been to a Candle Light Service later than 9:30?
Nope! :)

13. Favorite Christmas Tradition?

14. Have you ever had a white Christmas?
Sadly, no! This Christmas we’re expecting rain, and temperatures in the 70s!

15. Favorite Christmas artist?
I can’t really think of any artists that I’ve heard of that sings only Christmas music.
