July Highlights // My Vacation and Other Cool Stuff ;)

Heyyy August. I'm not superrrrr excited for you because school is starting and the weather is very hot and humid in August but I'm excited for a new month ;)

I feel like July went by really slowly. Like was the fourth of July really only 4 weeks ago? And did I really get back from my vacation two weeks ago? Whattttt? July was reaaaaallly fun though. There was a lot of exciting things that happened so you should read on to find out what they are ;)

July Highlights

I hosted a waffle party at my house - haha so yeah I invited my friends over for blueberry waffles. They were delicious. (Sad to say I think ever since then I haven't made waffles since haha.) uhhh but they were so good with whip cream on top. *im drooling right now. aren't you?*

Fourth of July was the bomb. (ahahaha that's a pun I'm laughing so hard rn) The fireworks were pretty awesome but being there with my friends and family was better ;) We played a game of football before the firework show and it was really fun. Usually no one ever guards me (which idk why because I'm a good player and I can catch a ball real good and even after I show to them that I'm a threat, people still don't block me. weird right? or am I just weird. idk.  it's really fun when always get the ball and scores runs for the team ;)

I made really good soda popsicles hehe my dad got them for me since he knows I like popsicles so much. (Thanks Dad!) I also made yogurt flavored ones too and they were sooooo good. Mmmm I'm craving them now.

WE WENT TO THE BEACH - won't really go into big detail about it because I'm writing a post about it in full detail (and it's gonna be THE BOMB post jsyk. check it out when I post it ;P) but let me just say IT WAS AWESOME. and right now just thinking about it makes me want to go back in the salty blue ocean water and be pulled into the mighty waves that beat on me. *add some dramatic music to that sentence* anywho, stay tuned. we'll talk more about this later ;)

we made bracelets for our friends who will be going to Guatemala on a mission trip. They're going to give our bracelets to little kids. It's awesome to know that even though we can't go there we can still help a little :)

bubble tea - I drank bubble tea two times in one week like uhhhh... so awesome.

reunited with our friends after vacation - we hung out at the library while Sarah and her friend volunteered. we drank bubble tea (for the 2nd time that week haha) and took artistic photos with our plato creations. (haha and we had a white piece of paper that we set up for our backround.) #aestheticnessatitsbest

VBS - ahhhhhh this was so fun. I helped with the 1st and 2nd graders with one of my friends and it was soooo fun. The first day, we basically followed around the kids and didn't really do anything but after a couple days we were busy helping the kids. It was super fun. Especially the music. haha I'm just going to add the links to these awesome songs (check em out. they're the best) One of the funnest songs to dance too and one of my favorite songs ever, Say Yes to VBS. Another really cool song, Sin Messed Everything Up. And Over the Moon another favorite ;)

Our family set up a surprise party for our Grandma and it was soooo sweet. She was sooo surprised. It was very enjoyable getting to take a little trip up the visit our family. I played around with my little cousins a lot. They're the best ;P

The Bomb Stuff

we went to our friends house and got some vegetables from their garden and there were LOADS of tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, egg plant, and blackberries too!! they were sooo good.

I changed my bedside billboard pictures (finally) and I'm so happy with how they look now. eeek!

I just got two new sweaters and I can't describe how much I'm excited for winter. AHHH I WANT TO WEAR SWEATERS AND JEANS SOOO BAD. *I know I'm weird*

AHHH so the flowers are finally up and butterflies are coming. I can't describe how beautiful it is. I'm so overwhelmed every time I see it. I thank God about a million times for making flowers. (Don't you too?) and btw, I just made a new hashtag on my Instagram photography account #elliesflowerspam haha I love it.

we drove around my dad's hometown where he grew up and it was so enjoyable. it was very fun to drive around and hear him tell me stories about when he was young.

I'm obsessed with Running Home to You by Grant Gustin and I can play it on the guitar and it sounds THE BOMB. it's the best love song I've ever heard (which is saying a lot because I don't really like any kind of love songs.)

We're obsessed with The Flash right now. Does anybody else love that show? *looking out for any fan out there to talk too* btw, that picture up there^ of me that's all blurry hehe doesn't it look like the flash? haha

Goals

paint the cabinet in the kitchen

make my last weeks of summer really fun and awesome

sleep outside

stay off technology so much

Thanks for reading guys!!

A Happy Birthday Post for Aiyanna and Anya // May Babes Tag

hey hey hey everyone! today I have a very special post on a very special day for two very special person ;) I had a blast putting this post and I hope you enjoy!
our first facetime September 3rd, 2016

Aiyanna and Anya on their 15th birthday!! Aren't they gorgeous?! yes they are!!

A couple years ago I met two of the sweetest people on earth who later became my bestest friends ever. Firstly, this is just a witness of how awesome blogging is. It hooks you up with some friendly (like the friendliest people you've ever known) Christian friends. Secondly, I'll never take Google Hangouts and iMessage for granted AGAIN cause that's the only way we can talk being so far away *tears* Anywho, we survive being so far away by "wearing" each other haha meaning we send each other cute clothes that used to be ours. I'm getting SOOO off topic though. Why am I writing this post? Well, firstly because I love my friendzies so much :) but also because it's their birthday today!!
So, in celebration of their birthday we present to you...

The May Babes Tag

1. How did we meet?
Exactly September 16th, 2015. lol I (Ellie) was having a giveaway on my blog and Anya entered. Some of her stuff wasn't filled out right so I had to email her asking her some questions. After that we started emailing each other. Later, Aiyanna emailed me telling me she was Anya's sister. We started talking too.

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
I (Ellie) think my first impression on Anya was that she was really nice but also like clueless haha because in the giveaway entries she didn't fill anything out. I was like, "Oh boy, I gotta talk to this girl." haha so yeah obviously that has changed. For Aiyanna I thought she was super nice to want to talk to me. I also thought it was funny that she just emailed me out of nowhere saying, "Hey I'm Anya's sister, let's talk." :P
Anya's first impression on me was, "like this girl is nice." btw, I got this answer from her. I'm not trying to make myself look good :P Anya actually won that giveaway which I was super excited about because she was a new subscriber to my blog and she was super nice to me.
Aiyanna thought I was nice too (I got this answer from her too :P) and she really wanted to talk to me because Anya had said a lot about me.

3. Do you have any nicknames for each other?
We all call Aiyanna, Aipresha because she says presh a lot. lol and Anya is my Daughter ;P and I'm her Mommy. idk how we thought of this nickname, I guess I act a lot like a mom to her. :P which sometimes I do so haha. And my nickname is Pork bEllie because I'd be a pork bellie if I lived in Georgia which is totally true. I can't stand that hot humidness.

4. Do you have any inside jokes?
Haha yes some of our inside jokes are the Oscars, grannish legs, goodneye, saying pee instead of please, and the cowboy emoji 🤠 haha which is MY emoji. I'm dying of laughter rn and you don't even understand hahahahahaha okay I'm done

5. How are we alike?
We all have brown hair, are homeschooled, Christ followers, share the same age (and birthday week yasss we are so cooler than you haha jk), same shoe size, and the same toothbrush color 🤣 haha me and Anya do ;P Aiyanna you need to get a red toothbrush. We all get annoyed of loud eating haha so don't eat loud in front of us lol and our favorite store is Walmart.

6. How are we not alike each other?
We live in different states, different heights (ugh they're taller than me), they have more siblings then me (I wish I had a baby brother and sister), and I'm a little older than them. Only one week mwahahahahaha. We are SOOO alike each other we had a hard time coming up with more hahaha triplets 👧👧👧

7. What are some of our favorite memories together?
We really enjoy facetiming each other and all the gift exchanges we've had. Getting to "wear" each other. haha and all the surprising gifts we've gave each other. I gave them a frame that says "Distance can't tear us apart" for Christmas and they surprised me with a lovely blue dress I always wanted of them. They told me I couldn't have the dress because they liked it too much and then they surprised me with it in the mail for my birthday. I'm like crying rn is anybody else?

8. What do we want to do together?
We all said at the same time on txt, "MEET!" yesssss we want to meet. We want to hug each other, cry over each other, smell each other, and never leave each other ever again. We want to spend 2 weeks together, one at their house and one at my house. Lots of laughs, good food, and laughter. Unless, we can just live together, Then, we'll just live together forever. *crying* I want to live with you forever.

That's a wrap of the May Babes Tag! We enjoyed sooo much going down memory lane together and answering these questions and we hope you enjoyed reading it!

Thanks for reading! and everybody jot down a happy birthday for Aiyanna and Anya below for us :) thanks!!!

Hey April

it's april guysss. Let me something first. IM HORRIBLE. It's April 3 and I'm posting my March highlights. It's bad guys. Sorry. I'm going to try try try to post on time this month. So sorry. Okay back to happy things.  March was fun, but I'm excited for April. Anyway, on to my March.

Some Exciting Changes.
The time changed. it was a little hard losing an hour of sleep but I'm really happy the sun is coming down later.
Yup it's defs spring around here. been raining like crazy.
Flowers are blooming!! Ahhhh I'm so excited. I can finally take pictures of flowers and trees with their pretty colors. Not dead trees. *sorry for the flower overload. ITS JUST SO PRETTYYYY AGH*

The weather is actually consistent. It's not 30 one day and then 80 the next day. *gaspssss*

Okay all these changes are about weather but who cares.

March Highlights
The warm weather
Agh please don't get annoyed of me. Seriously though. I LOVE IT. you can still wear a sweater, but you would be fine if you wear shorts.  One thing I kinda don't like about it though is I'm starting to sweat when I do gymnastics outside. ehh it's not that big of a deal. ITS SO WARM AND I LOVE IT. okay I'm done with talking about the weather.

St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt
I was excited for St. Patrick's Day this year because I really like green hehe. and our youth group was doing a scavenger hunt for st Patrick's day. IT WAS SUPER FUN. we didn't win. Sarah's team won.  We had to solve a riddle and that would you give a clue to where you need to go and take a picture. Thankfully we had an expert who knew all about the town it was in so it wasn't super hard. Anywho, it was super fun and we had a lot of laughs!!

Motown
WE WENT TO OUR FIRST BROADWAY MUSICAL. and it was AWESOME.  I'm not going to say anymore because I'm doing a post with more details about it. so be watching out ;)

Bowling
We've been doing a lot of bowling lately. Usually we bowl 2 or 3 times a year but this year we've already bowled at least 5 times and it's April. WOAH. it's awesome though. I'm not really good, but ITS FUN. yeah there's not much to say except, YOU SHOULD GO BOWLING WITH YOUR FAMILY.

 Filming our Movie
it's finally happening guys. My friends and I are making a new movie. Alice in Wonderland. I'm the Mad Hatter. AHHHHH I get makeup, a big hat, a long dress coat kinda thing, and I GET TO BE HIM IN OUR MOVIE. I'm so pumped about it. The Mad Hatter is weird and being weird isn't hard for me (especially when I'm on camera). This Tuesday we got to film the first part which was mainly Alice (Ellie the other one. not me) finding Wonderland. IM SO EXCITED FOR WHEN I MAKE MY APPERANCE. EEK

Sound of Music musical
yeah another musical. just a high school one though. it was really fun. We went with our friends. There two sisters (and my best friends) were in it. It was really good too. It was interesting to watch a high school musical after watching a Broadway musical and seeing the differences. Obviously Broadway musicals are better but for how younger the kids are in a high school musical, they do very good. Before the musical we played on the trampoline at their house and went out to eat. It was a blast (as always).

Gymnastics
well.....I've been doing vault. I'm not good at it because I haven't had much experience but it's still entertaining. I'm also nailing the front flip on the tumble track. My coach wanted me to try it on the floor. and I didn't do so good. But ehhh we'll get it next time ;)

March Goals
write more letters - idk if I wrote a letter this month.
draw more -yeah I never did this. oops.
make a special St. Patrick's Day dinner - didn't do this either. ahh yeahhhh oopssss

April Goals
Post two times a week at least TWICE this month.
Do an aerial (no handed cartwheel) again. I just can't do it anymore. ugh

Happy April everyone!!

what's one of your march highlights?
any april goals you have?
are you enjoying the warm weather (if you're having it)?
thanks for reading

October Highlights and November Goals

My October Highlights

1) Well, the right in the beginning of October was my sissy's birthday. I really enjoyed giving her my present which was a shirt that said "just keep swimming," and it had Dory on it. :P Also for her birthday party we had our friends over. We first hang out Friday night and did Bernie's Fitness Club (I'm getting them in shape). Then Saturday morning we met with donuts and coffee and went to the library. Then we played football and went hiking. It was very funn!

2) This month our youth group went to a town by us and did a service for teens. Our youth led the songs and our Pastor preached. It was very fun! Which leads me to another thing our youth group has been doing this month. Every Sunday night the youth lead worship which I just got into this year. It's been super fun to learn. I sing. Also, we've been learning on harmonizing which is really fun for me!! I'm starting to get good at it and it's so fun to do!! Sarah is learning to play the piano for the band and Danny has been learning the box (pretty much a bongo which is a drum).

3) Our fall photoshoot with our friends. This was super fun to do!! Like literally we planned EVERYTHING out from where we'll meet to what outfits we were wearing. It was so fun to do that. That morning I texted them and after all this work I go, "guys pray for me, I'm feeling non photogenic today." But right when we got there I couldn't stop smiling. I guess it's what best friends do to you. ;) Anywho, it was awesome. The only thing was....it was like 80 degrees and we were all dressed in fally sweaters and boots. it was hot. btw, why isn't fally a word. Fall-y? c'mon dictionary. I wish I could show you all of our MANY photos, but I can't. I have some handstand pictures though...and that picture my best friend took of me taking a picture of the leaves. :P Oh and Sarah's beautiful crown. hehe and Ellie's converse because I was obsessing over them. I literally took like five pictures of them...;P.

4) Pizza and the Arcade with my family. Every year all of  my mom's family goes out for pizza and then goes to the arcade. Who doesn't love spending time with your cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles?! Then....we played laser tag!! I've never done that before. At first, I was scared. literally. But then...I just started hitting people. That was totally fun. Our team won!! Oh and my name in the game was Jack something. All I remember is Jack. figures. Anybody been just dying to see season 4 of When Calls the Heart because you see so many posts about it on Instagram? Am I the only one? Seriously dudes...follow Erin Krakow on Instragram!!

5) Getting to play outside. This month when Sarah had to do her mid-term me, mom, and Danny went to the park. We had a obstacle course. First he won, then I won. Then she had to go there again, and went to the park again, and I won both games!! Next step is training for American Ninja Warrior. hehe no. Also after our history class on Thursday night we always go outside and play football. It's super fun. My abs really got stronger after that too. :P And also getting to do my gymnastics outside on my mat is always the best. It's so awesome to have so much space.
Which leads me too...........
6) Gymnastics. This is always my highlight, but this month was really awesome!! This month I did a backhandspring by myself like a bajillion times!! I landed a front flip also!! I also did an ariel (aka cartwheel with no hands). AND...I did a roundoff backhandspring ALL BY MYSELF this week!! I was so happy!! Now with some of these skills equipment helped me accomplish the skill, but I'm so happy about what I did. A lot of skills you can probably do by yourself, but the nervousness of your doing it by yourself messes you up. Don't be afraid though. So that was awesome!! I'm also getting to know my teammates and coaches well. So that's also good. :)

7) The zoo! This month we went to the zoo! We got to see the elephants (my favorite animal). At first we were walking and there were no elephants out, but then we walked more and there they were!! I was so happy!! We also went to Chickfila because that's the only time we can go there. That was the best... Who loves that place? Hey and guess what?! Our town just got a Panda Express. I was so happy!!

Of course I could say about another billion highlights, but I'll save you!!

My November Goals:
Wear boots
Get good grades
Do a backhandspring in my backyard
Get better at harmonizing
Have a sleepover with my friends
Eat a lot for thanksgiving

What are your October highlights?
What was your favorite highlight of mine?
What your November goals?

Thanks for reading!!

History, Biology, and Gymnastics

HEYYYY EVERYONE
I just realized how horrible my Bernie's Random Ramblings was so I went to update that.
Then, I really wanted to talk about my life. Cause it's been awesome.
So I decided to make a little my life post.

Last Thursday was our first church history class for the school year. My dad and our Pastor are teaching it. I knew it was going to be fun because all of our close church friends we're doing it. And it was! Our Pastor explains things really well. After the audio everyone was like "wait so what did I just hear?" and Pastor Ed helped us understand it by explaining it and helping us learn some new words. That was really fun. Everybody was doodling too. (one reason why I didn't understand the audio very well.) I don't usually doodle in class, but I was. Man, my handwriting was awesome that day.

Before the class I was talking to my friends. I told them, "I'm the kind of person who doesn't even answer the question who died for your sins. I know it Jesus, but I'm to shy to say it." So then after that I was answering ALL these questions in class. Which I think I was doing that because I was more comfortable about these people. It was still funny though.

I also did my biology test today. In this test I needed to memorize these really long and complicated words. What was hard about it was I had to memorize the definition. I know that sounds dumb, but my family has always done spelling where you say the definition and we say the word to the definition. So that was something new to me. Anywho, I think I did okay..... I had to guess for two of the questions. Sarah, who's already done this class looked over my answers after I took my test and told me some things I might've got wrong. So, I'm pretty comfident about it. Hopefully I get a good grade though.

These past few weekends it's  been really nice out. Of course we like to take advantage of that by going outside. Basically, we grill out. Eat outside. Play games with each other. Then just hang around outside doing what we want. I like to play on my balance beam and my mat. I do workouts on it, gymnastics games, and fun stuff. A couple days ago my brother joined me. We did balance beam competitions. Of course we're horrible and we make up rules so we said that you can have 10 retries. yeah our balance wasn't so good that day.

Speaking of gymnastics......IM SO EXCITED. Yesterday I had my gymnastics class. I wasn't there last week because of my back and my it was still hurting a little bit, but I decided to go. I was super nervous coming in there thinking that I would start hurting. I was fine though. I never hurt and I could do my skills just like normal. I was so happy! We got to do backhandsprings (my favorite). I'm so excited because I've getting better at my backhandsprings. I'm starting to get the feeling of it. First when we started the coach said, "okay let's just do roundoffs." I was sad because I wanted to do roundoff backhandsprings. Later then he said you can do them now. I was so excited. A couple weeks ago I was doing a roundoff, stop, and then do a backhandspring, but it's supposed to be connected. I'm finally getting to connect those better. And it makes me happy! So there's my gymnastics talk that I've been dying to tell everybody.

I was really excited about this week because I was going to be busy. WHO LIKES BUSY? ME. On Monday we had our girls bible study. Tuesday was piano and gym. Today was guitar and Wednesday night meals at church. Tomorrow is biology and history class. Friday is going to our apple festival. Saturday is going to the apple festival parade and hanging out there with our family. We're also taking these little kids there to because we're babysitting them. So, I'm excited!

Woohoo!
Tell me about your week.
Is there anything you're just dying to tell everybody about to? Tell meeeee!
What are some interesting things you learned this week?
And if you like gymnastics, TALK TO ME!

Bernie's Random Ramblings // Camping Stories

Aww our fun camping trip

A couple weeks ago our brother got to invite all his friends over to our friend's place where we camp for his birthday party. yes, you might think four boys are a ton of negative fun, but it actually was fun. But my parents said that me and Sarah could invite our friends this week. yayyyy! Especially in this horrible and horrid humid camping isn't fun which is wrong. you just literally swim all of the time. You can go on the zip line, go on the slippin slide, go on the diving board, just hang in the water, play on the floaty, and one of my favorites. handstand competition in the water. but I'm getting ahead of myself...

Welcome to Bernie's Random Ramblings
why is it that whenever I say that I always want to say "the part of the show where..........." the correct answer: cause I'm weird and I like watching veggie tales. ;P

On Thursday, we packed up and got ready to go. Once we got there we swam. Like I said it was horribly hot there so swimming was a perfect reliever after sweating tons while setting up the camper and everything else. The whole lake is muddy, slightly hot, but tons of fun. After a while of swimming there you get yellow toes because the mud gets in your toes. It's gross.  So, Thursday consisted of packing, swimming, and good food. We had tortillas with cheese, ham, mushrooms, meat, and pineapples on them. We heated them over a griller and they were good. That night all of us in our camper had a great but frustrating game for some people of Spades. After a while we got in a couple brawls because of the game you kno cause card games against your family are very frustrating when you want to beat that person so bad and they just can't stop getting tons of points and you can't stop getting tons of negative points. (if that was a run on. sorry.) A then we went to bed scared after a creeping story I told about a whistler who had a grey beard, a tall black hat, white clothes, and a black bow tie who always whistles around the lake at 2 in the night. It actually scared some of my family. yeah it's my talent.

Friday our friends Mila and Ellie came over. But before the day started with delicious eggs and some similar to hash browns that was awesome. The preparation for the breakfast was frustrating sometimes, but the gathering around the table with my family was worth all the hustle. When Ellie and Mila came over we went swimming. Sadly, Mila (aka Grammy) was to scared to go on the zip line and the diving board. (it was kinda tall but still.) Ellie, no problem she did everything (just like me.) So recently our squad started a competition where we just do games against each other. Sarah and Mila are #TeamMustard because they love mustard. Me and Ellie are #TeamLatte because we LOVE lattes. So, I prepared some nice challenges. Egg Rolette. haha. Team Latte won with only 2 or 3 egg cracks on their head. It felt pretty good getting a egg slapped on your head. After the game we had one left, so I just slapped one real hard on Mila. And then we all jumped into the water and played more games. Later we also played What's in my Mouth. I surprised everybody with some pretty ironic ingredients like b-que, garlic, hazelnut spread, green peppers, (I gave it to Ellie because she hates those, but I love them) and molasses. ugh. Sadly, Team Mustard won. By one point.

That night we had smores and played an awesome game of base tag. Okay guys I was just sitting right by my dad by the fire so many rounds and no one found me. that was awesome. Then, we went to bed. More Spades which I think I won. And then I crashed. Funny story though. Ellie said that in the middle of the night I was sleeping and she sneezed and then I said, "Bless you." LOL I love it stories when I talk in my sleep. Cause I do. Then, that night I told Mila, "I feel like everybody sleeps with their mouth open but I don't." The next morning she says, "Hey Ellie for a reference you do sleep with your mouth open when your asleep." That made me laugh. Anyhwo, I slept all the way through the night in a tent. I'm kinda proud of that.

There's not much to say about Saturday. Oh wait, I have a story.

So, Friday all the squad was just floating around in this floaty and I say, "hey let's float to that island." Now me and Ellie are in the floaty. Not Mila and Sarah who kindly pushed us there. Mila thought this shirt that was she was using to pull was rubbing against her so she went to go and grab it up and screamed. She was convinced it was a fish, but me and Ellie said let's get out of here just in case it was a snake. I'm not scared of most animals but snaked. eww. After pushing away from the island Ellie says, "hey look there's a snake." And there he is sliding (or whatever they do) his way into the island. The Cursed Island for now on. Never go there. Never. Thanks Mila and Sarah for pushing us into safety. And thanks Mila for taking that one for me. It could of been me going to grab that shirt I mean snake. Aww memories. scary memories.

Anywho, there's not much to say about Saturday other then we let with a giant sun burn on our face and yellow toes that looked disgusting.

bouncing in to say bye,
                               bernie

p.s. camping was the reason I didn't post on Friday.
p.p.s. we have a vacation coming up this weekend but I'll still probably be publishing this Friday.
p.p.p.s. Comment your camping experiences. I'd love to hear.

God in the Center

Hey guys! I'm Anya and I am going to write about how to keep God in the center of your life. I am the oldest of almost 6 kids and between helping with children, cooking, schoolwork, etc. it can be hard to set aside time for God. As a teen, it is most important for me to grow close to the Lord as I get older so that I will have a strong relationship as an adult. Some ways to keep Adonai in the center of your life are:

Setting a time:
I can focus better when I read and pray in the afternoon.

During school:
I have bible school work and the curriculum we use (CLE) has us read multiple chapters so, adding on more reading wouldn't hurt.

Whenever you are in a quiet place:
Whether you are putting a coat in a closet, outside, folding, etc. grab your bible or phone or whatever you use and read or listen to your bible.

Include friends:
It would be nice to include friends in prayer and bible reading to help you stay accountable.

Social media:
I use my email a lot and I just ask my friends or family if they need prayer requests or I ask them for prayers.

Through Music, Movies, or Books:
When engaging in uplifting media, it helps you think more about Christ and encourages you to really remember who you are living for.

Prayer:
You don't need to pray only at night, pray constantly. I find that when I thank God about something I don't like doing like, cleaning the restrooms, it helps me become more grateful. It usually goes a little something like this, "God, though I don't like cleaning the restroom, thank you so much for a bathroom to clean, and a home that has bathroom in it, etc." Prayer is very important, my parents always say, "If you don't spend time and talk with someone, how do you get to know them?"
1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."

These are ways I hope can help you grow in your spiritual walk but, one shouldn't just try to check it off the list. Really sit and enjoy the moment because life is not promised and we need to live every last minute of our lives for Christ. After all, the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. (Westminster Shorter Catechism)

So, whether you are a new believer or have been a follower of Christ for a few years or more, how is your relationship with Adonai? Strong? In need of strength?Just think about it.

Thanks so much for this chance to guest post on your blog Ellie! It was great! I hope to write again!

The First Snow of 2016!

So as you can see....WE GOT SNOW! SNOW SNOW SNOW! The first snow of 2016! Yay! Even though it was only 1 and a half inch it was snow for us. We sledged. And threw snowballs at each other. I tried to take pictures of it, but photography hasn't been so successful these days. And I don't have a lot to take pictures of. Anybody got any ideas?

On Wednesday's we always go to our friend's house and do our writing class. It's so fun because they have about three classes and at one time me, my brother, and my two friends all get to go outside and play football. It's come to like a Wednesday Game Day. This Wednesday we forgot are football. It was bad. Everybody was super grumpy. Though never take fear for Ellie's imagination is here. We ended up trying to play football with a soccerball, but we ended up playing a game where you can either kick the soccerball or pick it up and throw it to your teammate. You can't run with the ball in your hands though. It was really fun though because we didn't have fouls. So, you can just hold on to your brother and it's not bad at all. We just got jumped on many times by fighting for the ball. And when we came in my pants were literally SOAKED! It was so fun though. We always get some kind of dirty after ending our game out, but we all agree it's so worth it. And my team one! Cause we awesome! A lot of times my brother would be about to get a score and me and my teammate would be chasing them and he'd just fall. And I'd just have to go and do it. It was hilarious!

Basically around my house we've just been doing LOTS of school. I mean lots. And playing Chinese Checkers which I've have a three game losing streak. It's bad. I gotta step up my game. And what else. Umm watching football. I'm a Seattle Seahawk fan and they lost. So, I'd like to see Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals win the super bowl. And I do handstands probably about 100 times on Sunday while watching football. It's total relaxation to me! Yeah I've been flipping a lot. I got a flipping picture in the snow and for my school pictures! HOW COOL IS THAT? Thanks dad and Sarah for taking those pictures! And just watching Youtube. I have like a long streak of all the videos I need to watch on Youtube. I'm so busy I can't watch all of them, but I try. And just laughing. I love laughing don't you. And loving sunsets. They're just beautiful. I gotta say though my sunsets in the yard are way better than the ones on Instagram.

On Monday my dad, me, and my brother all went stargazing for our science. I thought it'd be boring, but even though we didn't see much it was fun. We got to see Orion, Cassiopeia, and some really bright stars that we think are planets. So that was fun!

I hope you had a great week and enjoyed this post!

Do you like snow?
What is relaxation to you?
Can you spot some constellations or planets?
