Thanksgiving has passed but Christmas is almost here!

Aloha! How's was everybody's Thanksgiving? Did you eat the biggest meal you ever ate before? I got stuffed before I got even close. Here's a good question. Turkey or Ham? I like Ham better, but Turkey it good too! So, anyway I'm going to do a Thanksgiving post. What I did, What I'm thankful for, along with some random Christmas pictures I took! Let us move onward!
Here are the ten things I'm thankful for.
1. Jesus Christ
2. Family
3. Friends
4. The bible
5. God's creation
6. The gifts God has gave me
7. Communication with long distance friends
8. My lovely clothes and house and everything in it
9. FOOD!
10. You followers and viewers!
There's many more. These are just few!

Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving day) we left for our Grandma's house. Her house is about six hours away from our house. The drive seemed like it took all day. You know how you always bring a lot of stuff for the drive up, but you don't use any of it. I do that a lot! We listened to the Chronicles of Narnia cd of Prince Caspian. Speaking of that, I JUST FINISHED THE LION, WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE! YAY! Moving on.

The next day was Thanksgiving day! I had so much fun eating and playing with my family. I have the most adorable cousins in the whole entire world. We did a lot of cool things together! We played piano, watched Frozen, ate and ate and ate (of course it was Thanksgiving) and colored! Meanwhile in the afternoon my little cousin fell asleep on me. It was the cutest thing ever! I love my cousins SO MUCH! On Friday, it was almost the same. Eat, play, eat, play. We played Head Bands except it was the newest act it out game! It was a blast playing it with my cousins! That night we had the best pizza in the whole world! It was delicious! Then, we put up the Christmas tree for our Grandma. It was so funny and enjoyable because we were all in the Christmas spirit while singing songs. The house went bonkers when my uncle brought the Santa up. He sings. He's creepy. But everybody loves him! Rudo (our dog) was terrified by him. He used to just bark at it, but not now. Even when we shake his hand his bolts out of the room. It's funny!

On Saturday, we left. It was sad saying goodbyes. Although, our Grandma is coming to our house this week because my uncle is coming for hunting season. Before we left we went to see my Grandpa's grave sight. It was so sad to see it, but it made me happy too! I thought about all that pain he had. Now it's all gone! Though we miss him so much we know he's in a better place. I love him so much! Which brings up the fact that my dad killed a buck deer and he's is cutting it right now. We saw a Christmas tree in the middle of the road. It was so beautiful! We also went to an awesome Italian restaurant. It was really yummy!

When we got home we unpacked then we set up out Christmas tree. After putting up our Grandma's we totally got in the Christmas mood. There's so many memories that come up when you think about Christmas, ornaments, Jesus's birth, family. Then today we did some extra decorations. I put my little town up and some garland in my room. We also put up a manger scene and some others. I'm so ready for Christmas. What about you?

This whole trip was awesome! We hadn't seen my Grandma and her house in a long time so it was good seeing it again. It just has to make you smile when you think about family. Their so precious! The food was delicious! It's always good when your go to your Grandma's! So here's some pictures to contribute to this post!

The Grateful Blogger Award

Hello peeps! So it's close to Thanksgiving and you know what that means. 99.9% probably said FOOD! No. Thanks! Giving Thanks! I have been nominated by Lord's Girls for the Grateful Blogger Award! Thanks for nominating me! Means a lot!
So let's move onward!

 So here are the rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you, they will surely appreciate it! Also, leave a link back to the person who nominated you.
  • Write about ten things you are thankful for. Here is the tricky part though; you can't just say you are grateful for gum or video games or whatever "little" thing it is you want to discuss. Think deeply about what is really, really  important to you, such as family, or life in it of itself. Explain why you are thankful for those things.
  • Tag ten other bloggers; our goal is to tag everyone!! Comment on the blogs you nominate so that they will know that they were tagged!
  • Add the pic above to your sidebar or award page thanking the person (or people) who tagged you.
  • Note: These ten things are not in order.
These are the ten things I'm thankful for.
    1. My Dad and Mom! Cause their always there for me. They provide so much for me. They also sacrifice a lot of things for an education and pleasure.
    2. Siblings! They're always fun! They make so many good memories with you!
    3. Jesus. He is so forgiving to me! He's always there for me! He provides for all my needs. He love me and picks me up when I'm sad and mad. He gives me all these things that I'm thankful for!
    4. FOOD! Because I couldn't live without it! It's yummy and keeps me happy!
    5. My house! It's so warm in the winter and fall. It's so refreshing also in the summer. My bed is in there. My room is in there.
    5. My education. Without that you and I couldn't write letters. It's awesome to know the beautiful things outside when you take a walk or just glance outside.
    6. My clothes. It keeps me warm and cool. It's so cute and comfortable!
    7.  My friends. They help me. They make me laugh. They talk to me and cheer me up!
    8. Technology. Without technology I couldn't really talk to my long distant friends. I wouldn't be able to write on this blog. I couldn't meet sweet and awesome bloggers. It's awesome!
    9. Animals. There so cute! They jump on you and lick you. They cheer you up. Even though they don't talk it's almost like they're your best friends. I take that back! They are!
    10. Music. Not only songs and artists but instruments. It's beautiful!
    I nominate
    Sarah from Forever Changed
    Jessica from Almost Perfectly Pink
Hannah from Tom Boy in Tiered Skirt
Danielle from The Diary of Danielle
Thanks everyone! These answers just amaze me that God is so powerful! He is awesome!

    Modesty Series #3

    Hello!
So, I've been thinking a lot about what I could write about including Modesty. My dad had this magazine that he gave me called "Modeling Modesty." Well, I want to read more about modesty and get other peoples thought, so I read it. It was talking about modeling modesty. I think Modesty is great! I think people should dress modestly. I really didn't think about me. Am I modeling modesty. I'm not impropriate when I'm dressing, but I don't know if I'm always modeling modesty. What about you? I confess I do not always dress like I'm modeling modesty. Sometimes we need to kind of forget about others being modest and remember yourself. You might not be very convincing when your telling a friend to dress a little more modest when your wearing the same kind of clothes like her. We need to set a good example. Are you a good example of modesty.

1st Timothy 2:9 And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes.

1st Peter 3:3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.
1st Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

1st Corinthians 6:19-20Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Do you think your modeling modesty? Are you dressing pleasing for God?
Please comment below and tell me if you liked this post.

Now, I'm going to do the Blog Recognition Award. Lord's girl nominated me! Thanks! I'm ready. Are you? Here we goo!!!

    On with the rules:

*Give a brief story of how your blog got started, and give a piece or two of advice to new bloggers. Thank whoever nominated you, and link to their blog. List who you've nominated in the post.
*Make sure to also attach the award itself! (You can do this by right clicking, saving, and uploading the image.)

*Comment on each blog and let them know you've nominated them. Provide a link to the award post you created.

*Provide a link to the original post on Edge of Night. That way, anyone can find the original guidelines and post if needed, and we can keep it from mutating and becoming confusing! (It happens LOL.)

*For this award, you must nominate 15 peeps. You can't just go "I nominate this blog whoever wants it comment below" like that. You can decline the award also if you do not want to do the above rules.

See the original rules and stuff HERE.

      How it all started...
Well, my sister has had a blog for about a three years. I just loved the idea. So, I asked my Dad and Mom if I could have a blog. They said once I turned 12, but I could team up with my sister and we could blog together. When I turned 12 (this year) I kind of left her blog and made my own. That's how it started!

    My advice for you......
    1. Never give up on your blog. When I first started I got A LOT of comments. Later, it calmed down a lot of none. I just kept posting and writing my thoughts and I don't have 100 comments every post. Sometimes I still have none. I just keep trying.
    2. Make weekly or daily or monthly games or posts. For a while I was doing my favorite songs of the week. I have a awesome blogger friend, Jessica who posts a thing called Tactic Tuesday and she posts random pictures she's took. It's also fun and sometimes it builds up responsibility.
    3. Every once in  a while I take the time to look at new blogs. I kindly comment and say how I like their blog, my name, my blog name, my blog address, and a kind welcome! It always make me have new friends and followers too;P

     I nominate,
    Sarah,
    Jessica,
    Another Sarah,
    Hannah,
    Asmita,
    Molly,
    Rebecca,
    Michelle,
    Julie,
     and Julibee

Thanks everyone! If you want to do this award even if your not nominated you can.

    Peace and Love,
                            Bernie;P

    My Modest Series!!!

Hello Everybody! So, according to the polls percent, more people want me to do a Modesty Series than A uniquely blank series. So I'm so excited! For those who wanted me to do the uniquely blank series I will do it just not now. So any in this post I'm going to share what I think modesty is and what I think about it. I think Modesty means to be covered up into whatever your comfort zone is. If that's makes any sense. An example is me. My non comfort zone is no shorter shorts than in the middle of you knees and waist. I usually wear shorts a little under the knees or over the knees. I think it is very impropriate when girls wear shorts that aren't even longer than the pockets. When it comes to shirts. No belly shirts. I like to be covered up on the top part. Though sometimes you come across cute shirts that are a little low cut. I just wear a cami. I don't like really tight shirts. Though I will deal with skinny jeans and leggings. Leggings need to be covered up with a long shirt or cami though. There's nothing really wrong about shoes, but I don't like really high heels. Especially the thin heels. I will sometimes wear little heels. So, that's kinda all. If you enjoyed this post a lot please give me some suggestions on what do you think I should do next including the subject Modesty. I am not done with my modesty series. This is just the first part! If you want to find a modest blog click here. She's awesome! Thanks everyone!

    Peace and Love,
                          Bernie;P
