why hello

hello everybody! how are you?

I'm sorry but at the time I feel like the only time I can really post it once a week. I know in my survey some people asked me to post more and I will try hard. But I am very busy with you.

WHO JUST WANTS SUMMER TO COME A LITTLE BIT FASTER?!?

Okay now on to my post.....*deciding on what to post*

7 awesome things

1. When you say the SAME thing the person says in the movie at the SAME time. It's just such a proud moment. Isn't it?! anybody?

2. When you're finally done with school and it's a Friday. It's like...I can breath harder now!

3. When you're just almosttt caught up with all of your videos you need to watch on Youtube. Yeah I watch a lot of vlogs so I have a big list a lot of times because I'm so busy. Does anybody else have big lists of videos you need to watch?

4. When you FINALLY catch a football in a game. Literally guys I can catch a ball, but in a game it's a little harder. I always scream, "I finally did something good!" when I get it and say, "I almost was going to do something good" when I don't. *sad face*

5. When you make great food! Lol me and my friend made THE BEST cookies yesterday.

6. When your friend tells you she loves you favorite book or movie too!

7. When you win! Lol BEST feeling EVA! Playing football is a blast! And so is Chinese Checkers. But I mean winning it even better! Am I right?

7 awkward things

1. When you literally have NOTHING to say to your friend.

2. When you ask your friend if she wants to do something and she asks you but you don't want to do what you want to do. Lol don't you wish you're friends actually answered your questions sometimes?

3. When you have like the best speech ever to tell everybody but you forget one word. One time I was telling everybody about how my friend got saved, but I totally forgot what they usually say when that happens. And everybody was trying to guess it. It made the speech horrible.

4. When your friends are talking about something else you haven't watched or something you don't do right in front of you. Yesterday my friends were talking about this movie and how it was weird and I was just sitting there laughing at everything funny they said. lol :P

5. When you have to walk through this big aisle where everybody is just sitting around. I feel like everybody has eyes on me even though they probably don't.

6. When someone asks you what you talked about with your friend and you suddenly just forget every single thing you talked out. I mean you talked about a lot of things Ellie can't you remember? Lol it's not like it's a secret at all. I just forget.

7. When everybody else just slips on their shoes in no time and you have to tie it and everything.

The First Snow of 2016!

So as you can see....WE GOT SNOW! SNOW SNOW SNOW! The first snow of 2016! Yay! Even though it was only 1 and a half inch it was snow for us. We sledged. And threw snowballs at each other. I tried to take pictures of it, but photography hasn't been so successful these days. And I don't have a lot to take pictures of. Anybody got any ideas?

On Wednesday's we always go to our friend's house and do our writing class. It's so fun because they have about three classes and at one time me, my brother, and my two friends all get to go outside and play football. It's come to like a Wednesday Game Day. This Wednesday we forgot are football. It was bad. Everybody was super grumpy. Though never take fear for Ellie's imagination is here. We ended up trying to play football with a soccerball, but we ended up playing a game where you can either kick the soccerball or pick it up and throw it to your teammate. You can't run with the ball in your hands though. It was really fun though because we didn't have fouls. So, you can just hold on to your brother and it's not bad at all. We just got jumped on many times by fighting for the ball. And when we came in my pants were literally SOAKED! It was so fun though. We always get some kind of dirty after ending our game out, but we all agree it's so worth it. And my team one! Cause we awesome! A lot of times my brother would be about to get a score and me and my teammate would be chasing them and he'd just fall. And I'd just have to go and do it. It was hilarious!

Basically around my house we've just been doing LOTS of school. I mean lots. And playing Chinese Checkers which I've have a three game losing streak. It's bad. I gotta step up my game. And what else. Umm watching football. I'm a Seattle Seahawk fan and they lost. So, I'd like to see Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals win the super bowl. And I do handstands probably about 100 times on Sunday while watching football. It's total relaxation to me! Yeah I've been flipping a lot. I got a flipping picture in the snow and for my school pictures! HOW COOL IS THAT? Thanks dad and Sarah for taking those pictures! And just watching Youtube. I have like a long streak of all the videos I need to watch on Youtube. I'm so busy I can't watch all of them, but I try. And just laughing. I love laughing don't you. And loving sunsets. They're just beautiful. I gotta say though my sunsets in the yard are way better than the ones on Instagram.

On Monday my dad, me, and my brother all went stargazing for our science. I thought it'd be boring, but even though we didn't see much it was fun. We got to see Orion, Cassiopeia, and some really bright stars that we think are planets. So that was fun!

A Little Bounce in Your Step!

Welcome to A Bounce in Your Step

Hello friends! Welcome to A Bounce in Your Step! I hope you all like the new name. I know I do. Oh and sorry about that completely random story a couple days ago. Comment if you'd like me to more of those though! Anywho, thank you Allie from Spreading my Joy for doing my design. Guys go and get a design from her. She's so patient and she's totally opened to anything. She's awesome. Thanks Allie for putting up with me. Because I change my mind a lot when looking for designs. You can go right here to see Allie's Blog Designs Blog. Thanks again Allie! Oh and I loved these sunsets. My favorite color is officially sunset orange. Not just because of Peeta. I really do LOVE the color. It's just shows God's wonderful creation! And reminds me that God is in control. And that comforts me.

 

So, all credit to my dad for thinking of this name. While I was going to the dentist I asked him some names ideas and he gave me this. At first I was a little like, "Okay..moreee.." But after everything everybody suggested I was like, "Nope it's not better than A Bounce in Your Step." People say you just put a bounce in my step when someone encourages or cheers them up. And I love that. Because I want to encourage people. I love doing it. And I hope I'm encouraging you! I also love the title cause it's goes so much with me. I love flipping and exercising. I'm a sporty person. bounce bounce! It's awesome! I really like this title. And I hope you like it too!

 

A long time ago I was at Sunday School and our teacher asked me to write down what you want people to say about you when you die. And I said that I encouraged them. And he asked me, "Oh so you're an encourager huh?" I was like yeah. I'm nice like that. hehe sorry for that sick Nick Fury quote there. I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks I am just hilarious! :P Anywho, I'm a shy person. It's hard for me to just get out of my comfort zone and talk to people. But I love encouraging people. And I love encouraging people online! It's so easy. I hope I encourage you guys! :)

 

I hope that this year I can put a bounce in your step. And that I can encourage you! And also that I can get out of my comfort zone and just encourage everybody! I pray that this year me and you will encourage people more. That whatever is stopping us from encouraging people we will break it. And I know that God will be with me always. And with you too!

Short Story / Hazel's Horrible Day

I've been wanting to show you guys some of my stories I make for Latin. Hope you like.

 

Hazel’s Horrible Day

Hazel playfully messed with the piece of her hum like playing with plato. She madly thought of all the unfair happenings of the day. After waiting for her fiery burritos at McDonald’s for almost an hour she hurried over to her social class. She opened the giant door only see nobody. She quickly realized they relocated fir the day. As she offered a mundane excuse for being late with all the ladies they just looked at her like she was a barbarian. Hazel was having thoughts about dissociating with the social group. The only reason Hazel joined the group was to break her antisocial self, but they made her not want to talk. Like the day when Hazel was just telling them about her day when they started jumping on her about practicing her pronunciation. So she drove back to home. Only things got worse when she turned on the tv only to find her favorite president. Goulding. She hated Goulding. She was so stressed. So Hazel turned into the only thing that could make her happy. She opened her pantry to find her fiery burritos. Only to find none.

Questions...

What are your goals for this new year?

Well I already posted them on "Let's Go on an Adventure" but I'll say a couple. To learn more gymnastics skills and to read more books of the bible in the Old Testament.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, when and where would you go?

Good question! Right now Minnesota or San Diego. But I've always wanted to go to Paris.

Have you ever created something that you are proud of? 

Uhhh... *thinking very hard* yeah. I once made a pastel wind blower thingy and I was proud of it. And I'm proud of some of the pictures I've drew lately.

Who were your very first blog supporters?
I'm going to have to look at my first post for that. I'm really not sure. I'd say my great friend Rebecca and also Jessica. And of course my sister Sarah.

What inspired you to start a blog?
My sister was making one so I wanted to. I've always been one of those people who just want to share my life to everyone. I've always wanting to make a vlogging youtube channel so I think blogging was the first step for that.

 

What is your favorite movie that was taken  from a book?

um...I guess I'm going to have to say Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe because I haven't read a lot of books that are movies and Percy Jackson isn't the best. So...yeah! I really liked Alice in Wonderland too though! :) And hunger games even though I haven't even seen the movie but I know they'll be THE BEST!

If you were able to time travel, what era would you go to first?
I'd say like the 70's or 80's. Because I wish I could just walk around town with my friends like he did. And drive a car without a seatbelt. And get really cheep sodas. And bike like EVERYWHERE!

A bible verse that always inspires you is...?

Which good life event sticks out the most in your memory?
When all of my cousins went jumping in their pond and pushing each other in. That was THE BEST!

In twenty years, what and where do you want to be?
Hmm...I don't know. Have a good job. Maybe some kids. I don't know. And maybe living a little more high up. Chicago maybe. I've always wanted to at least live BY a city.

Your absolute best day is when...?
Is when....... *thinking super hard* have no idea. All I'm thinking about is getting to eat macaroni cheese because of the Ramona and Beezus movie. Uhh...I really don't know. When we get to stay up and watch the whole Sunday night football game.

Heyy. So...it's a new year!

WOO HOO!

Since it's a new year I have a couple things I'd like to do to improve this blog.

I know guys it's sad, but I'm thinking about getting a new name.

Uniquely You is cool, but I'm up for something new.

Soooo...I really got nothing though.

So, I'd like your opinion.

And I like sports.
I really like ly words.
I mostly post about my life, photography, and just God around my blog.
Oh and I love converse and sunsets!
So I'd just ask you if you could just use your imagination and maybe think of something.

Let's Go On An Adventure!

                    Happy New Year! 

2015 has been filled with sad moments and mad moments. But love, laughter, and forgiveness made it a happy year. A year I loved. Thank you Jesus for 2015. Maybe your 2015 wasn't the best, but I know for a fact that God has a plan for you. And yes I know it's hard but he's always with you and he'll never leave you. So cheer up. Trust in The Lord! 

I have some great moments at the top of my head of 2015 that I'd love to share with youuu! 

1. After my moms surgery I was so happy when I saw her out of her bed and in her Wild Motor Drivers shirt. (Wild Motor Drivers is my brother's baseball team for that year. We all love baseball a lot.) 

2. I loved seeing my brother play for a really good baseball team called the Sharks. It was so awesome. I was a proud sista. 

3. Late night chit chats are always awesome with ma sista. Especially the nights after I read the hunger games so we could argue about Gale and such.  

4. For my sister's birthday I loved going to Paducah and spending the day with my family and our two really good friends. It was awesome having a picnic by the river too! 

5. I just love the moments in 2015 when all of us family were cuddles together in the living room just talking. I love seeing my family laugh. 

6. One of my favorite memories is going to big dinners with your relatives and looking down the table and seeing ALL the people all talking and loving each other. It's so awesome to think of how God has blessed you so much with awesome family. 

7. Okay, who doesn't love when singing at church just you stop singing and hearing EVERYBODY sing. So loudly praising God. I love doing it and it's SOO awesome! I also just love all the things we get to do with our church family. 

8. This year I loved making a new friend named Jennivee. She's pretty much a grandma to us. We make cookies with us, play Chinese checkers, shows us cooking recipes, and gets us food. But she helps us so much and I love spending time with her. She encourages me so much and I admire how much she loves and cares for everybody. 

9. One of my favorite memories was staying up late one night while my dad addressed Christmas cards and I flipped around the house doing cartwheels and singing Christmas songs and my mom being right there smiling at me. It was awesome. 

10. God really showed his mercy to me when this week our car had to go to the car shop and get a pretty big repair. My dad was wanting to get my mom a camera and the car payments would've maybe stop him. But God provided for getting my mom a camera. And he also fixed our car so we could travel to my Grandma's. Thanks God! 

11. Another good memory was getting a big giant jar of money from an unknown person. That really made us happy and it encouraged our family to maybe give something to some family sometime too! 

12. And one last one. This Wednesday night when we were pulling into our Aunt and Uncles house and looking in the window and seeing all of our cousins looking out the window as jumping up in the air when they saw our car. They made me SOO happy! 

God has really blessed us with a GREAT year. Thank you God! And thank you to every single one who made this year so great! I thank God for you guys, my family, and my friends! 

        New Years Resolutions 

1. Memorize more bible scriptures.

2. Read more books of the bible in the Old Testament.

3. Learn more gymnastics skills.

4. Have bigger muscles! Lol :P

5. Give more to the missions.

6. Read 7 books.

7. Go on a big vacation. 

8. Go on a roller coaster for the first time! 

9. Get a new camera or new iPod. 

10. Give birthday cards to my blogging friends. 

Thanks guys making this year so fun. I love blogging for you! 2016 I'm ready! Let's go on an adventure!
