Why I Blog // I want to be here for you

I've been thinking a lot about why I blog. The ultimate reason why I blog is to be a light for Christ. Talking face to face with others about Christ is something I always struggle with and while I still need to work on that I feel like I can do that on here much better.. I want to encourage and help people become closer to Jesus. And encourage me. Lol  most of the time I talk about a particular spiritual topic on my blog is because I NEED TO HEAR IT TOO.
   We all have struggles in life and I just want to be there for others and be an encouragement. I've had many instances where a little encouragement from a friend made sooo such a difference. It's funny how such a small deed means soo much more to that person than we think. I want to do that for others. I want to encourage them in their faith.
   I feel like I haven't been doing much of encouraging and uplifting on this blog lately. Well firstly, I feel like I haven't been blogging as frequently as I used to a year ago. I feel like whenever I finally post it's just about me and what's going on. And that's totally okay, but I've realized that's not my whole purpose in this blog. Although I love talking to you guys about my life and exciting things I want to do more. but I also want to help and encourage you. I want to get to know you better. I want to have a relationship with you. Be a friend to you. Help you with your relationship with God. And it not only helps you but me too.
    And even if I don't get much viewers I won't care. I'll be happy that I could give encouragement to just one person. Cause it means SOO much more than you think, ya'll.
    So there's my little rambling of what I've been thinking about lately. I'm thankful for every viewer and commenter on my blog. Let me just tell you, YOU BRIGHTEN MY DAY UP. Every comment means SOOO much. It encourages me soooo much. Thank youuuu!!
    I hope in exchange I can encourage you. If you just need someone right now, I'm here. I'm definitely not perfect, but my Father is. Everything I say is inspired by Him and He gives me all the words to say.

My New Camera // What Should I Name my Camera?

   GUYSSSSSS I GOT A CAMERA. yayyyyyyyy. I'm super excited because it's my first camera besides my iPod that I've used most of this time. It's a Nikon CoolPix L830 for any of ya'll who'd like to know lol idk. So yeah it is a beginner camera but it's perfect for me since it's my first kinda expensive camera. What I really like about it is, 

1. It zooms in reaaally far and it doesn't look blurry at all,


2. the flash is amazing (I'm not talking about the show The Flash although it is amazing XD),


 3. it takes really good photos of people. and nature ;) 

   So yeah, basically whenever my siblings are doing cool things I like to take photos of them. And of course I take pictures of flowers and butterflies cause that's my thing ya kno. I'm thinking since I love this new camera of mine so much and since it's my baby I should name it. Right?! haha so what do you think I should name it? 

   A long time ago I got a photography Instagram account and I'm really excited cause I guess you can say I kinda just learned how to get a lot of followers lol. hehe so yeah you should definitely check that out right here and follow me. thankssssss :P and if YOU have an Instagram tell me what your Instagram account is and I TOTALLY wanna follow you. uh huh yeah I do

My When Calls the Heart Thoughts

  random picture my limited edition st. patricks day lucky charms. HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY. I love this holiday because I love green (it's my favorite color) jsyk ;P

  okay any when calls the heart fans out here? *proudly raises my hand as high as I can* yup I'm one of those proud fans.

   We just started watching the episodes of season 4 and I'm like "woahhhh. It's totally normal that Jack's just so likeable. and then Elizabeth and Jack's relationship is *a bijillion heart faces*  AHHHH I love it. I'm also enjoying Bill aka the bessttttt umpire eva lol and the bestttt cooker ever. I'm always laughing whenever he's in the scene. I like how there's finally a married couple in this show (Lee and Rosemary). I like their relationship a lot. I especially like Lee trying calming down Rosemary (cause she doesn't even know the word calm). So what about you? Who's your favorite character so far? mine's Jack if you didn't know *tears of laughter*

   Which makes me think of a random question? Do you emphasize your feelings about a show, movie, etc. Because whenever I watch when calls the heart my face is as straight as a line but like in my mind I'm thinking, "AHHH THIS IS SO AWESOME. IM DYING." So who are you? Someone who tells your feelings about that show aloud while it's going on? Or someone who keeps it to yourself?

   Anywho, back to my thoughts. Everything is going so perfect and WOAH there's this random (he already looks like a horrible person) dude who just comes up and says "I'm the new teacher." WHAAAAT? ugh so now we all have to wait for ONE WHOLE week to find out what's going to happen.

   Which makes me think of something else. You might say, "well we all know what's going to happen. Elizabeth is gonna get her job back. duh." And yah I'd agree with you, but it's still cool because we can see how it happened. Sure Elizabeth will probs get her job back but HOW? And yeah this random dude in this random movie might die but HOW? and how's everybody going to react to it? so it's still cool to see shows and movies even when they're predictable =) do you agree with me?

   So, SHOOT ME YOUR THOUGHTS guys. If you want to be my when calls the heart buddy (txt me or Instagram direct me or something) Literally I always send random videos to my friends (who don't care about the show really) but YOU CAN BE MY FRIEND.


   Heyyyy guess what? I've been struggling with blogging these days. Asking myself are people really liking my blog? Are people even interested in things I say. At the end of the day I always tell myself to keep posting. To just keep moving on, but it's not always easy. Whenever I look at my blog I feel like no one is interested.

I'm different from other bloggers. All the blogs I read write beautiful stories and poems. I like writing, but I'm not so good at it. I have a different style from everybody else. Sometimes I'm discouraged to post my writing because it's so different. Whenever I read other peoples posts their grammar is perfect, but I struggle with that.

I feel like my photography isn't as good as everyone's else. Everything looks perfect and my photography is good, just not as good as theirs. Sometimes that discourages me and makes me not takes pictures as much.

But I shouldn't be like that. I shouldn't compare myself. I shouldn't be afraid to post different things because no one else posts about it or I feel they might not be interested.

BE UNIQUE. BE DIFFERENT.

Stop comparing their blog to yours and trying to make yours like theirs.

BE YOU. NOT THEM.

I'm here to say, I'm not perfect. This post probably have some grammar mistakes. But that's okay.

Keep blogging. Because you'll never get better if you just stop.

Keep trying.

It'll be worth it. I promise.

Most of all, be you.

Don't be afraid.

It's the Olympics Tag. I love the Olympics. We've been watching it all these couple weeks. It's something I always look forward too. So, I'm going to do this Olympics Tag because I LOVE THE OLYMPICS! WOO HOO! I'm so pumped. Except who is like dying cause they know it's going to end tomorrow. I'm so sad. Ugh. Don't leave me the Olympics.

Well, uh gymnastics! But other than that I'd love to do swimming or volleyball. Or diving.

Of course, I love watching gymnastics. I also love swimming, diving, and volleyball. (Sorry if all the answers are the same)

Uh....ALY RAISMAN. SIMONE BILES. AND PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THE GYMNASTS.

6. SUMMER OR WINTER OLYMPICS?

SUMMER. I love Winter, but Summer is just the best. Mainly, because gymnastics and swimming are it. But still the summer Olympics seem so more celebrative. I love it.

8. A SPORT THAT SHOULD BE IN THE OLYMPICS? 

Hm...I really think that every sport I can think of in it. Except baseball, but I don't think it should be. Maybe. IDK. Yeah I don't know anything.

9. WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE GOING THROUGH YOUR HEAD RIGHT BEFORE YOU WERE ABOUT TO COMPETE IN THE OLYMPICS? 

I would be thinking, "Ellie, try really hard to get a gold, silver, or a bronze, but most of all have fun with your teammates. And just do your best to Ellie."

10. IF YOU COULD CHOOSE A LOCATION FOR THE OLYMPICS, WHAT WOULD IT BE? 

I want to see it in China again. Maybe Italy. That'd be cool. Or Hawii. Or the Bahamas. Or...Scotland. Anywhere really. I love to see the different cultures in the countries when the Olympics come on.

11. WHAT IS THE MOST BORING SPORT YOU'VE SEEN IN THE OLYMPICS?

I'd say the Horse races. That was bad.

Well I gotta cut these down. For gymnastics I would want to be Russia cause they are good at it. Swimming, I don't know Australia I guess. And running, Nigeria.

Daily December / Christmas Rant

So, I haven't posted in a long time. Sorry about that. But I decided to get on the computer and write a post for you today as I was watching tv and was starting to really get tired of watching the same thing over and over again. So here I am! It was a right decision too! I like writing for you guys! Oh but the big question. WHAT SHALL I WRITE? Okay, so my friend Elly is doing a challenge I guess and it's a Daily December Challenge. I really liked it so I decided to do it. Yeah I know. It's December 3. Truth is I've been busy. So, I will start today. So, I'm just going to skip day one and day two and do today! And that's....

Soo...............uh..I uhh....

Want to rant about Christmas.

Yeah Christmas.

So.....okay okay.

It's not very cold out. I mean I complain about it being cold and my dad's like, "Yeah it's about 42 out" and I'm like, "Really? That's not cold at all! Even though my hands are ice blocks lol" I'm quite surprised how I've been in the CHRISTMAS TIME mood even though it's not CHRISTMAS TIME weather. Oh, the ventings of a girl who has been waiting for winter all summer and has to wait for so much longer because the weather will not just make it's mind up. But thanks for Francesca Battistelli. Her music is THE way to get in the Christmas mood. I mean guys just listen to "Christmas Is" and you'll have the inspiration to paint your room green and red suddenly. Really I'm serious. I love to do cartwheels and handstands in the house with her music on. Also, I mean I'm proud of me. Black Friday came and seeing all these emails about great deals made me want to go Christmas shopping. I've so far bought two presents and I'm just waiting for my friend to buy another that we're going to chip in for. It's awesome! Online Christmas is the bomb around black Friday and cyber monday. So yeah. And the Christmas decorations. I'm going to post about some photography for some of our decorations soon, but I went all out. Okay not really, but me and my sister put these really cool lights in our room and it LITERALLY lights up the room in the night to where I can see all the room. And we also have...um...garland yeah that's the word around like pictures in our rooms. It's cool. I'll show you soon. So yeah. I mean is that enough guys. Christmas rant! Yeah! Anything else to say. I'm really excited about Christmas and it's going to be awesome! Oh and a thing I love around the Christmas time is going in town and seeing all the lights. Yes I do love the house lights that people decorate with outside of their house, but I'm talking about the store lights. And then ALL the headlights. It's awesome. It really makes me want to sing in the car out loud,

"CHRISTMAS IS COMING! CHRISTMAS IS HERE! I'VE BEEN COUTNING DOWN THE DAYS ALL YEAR! CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE!"

Bernie's Random Ramblings #3 Jessica Fletcher the guinea pig.

Hello guys! Another Rambling I know. Today I'm going to do it about my other pet. My guinea pig, Jessica. I got this guinea pig from my cousin and her name was originally Jessica. I would've changed it, but we like this show called Murder She Wrote. And the main character is Jessica Fletcher so we thought since we like Jessica Fletcher we'd keep the name for her. Anywho, I did a photoshoot with my new pal. Here it is.

Jessica is very spoiled. My cousin spoiled her.

 

She is very sassy.

She looks like a true detective here. Lol

She mostly exercises in the night.

She loves her Timothy Hay.

She has an interesting relationship with Rudo.

She's picky when it comes to food.

She's cool, but I little boring.

But she is a guinea pig I guess.

I like her a lot.

We also call her Mrs. Piggy.

Bernie's Random Ramblings #2 My Egyptian Dog who Wears Mascara.

I have a lot of photography I need to show you though.
So today I'm doing another Bernie's Random Ramblings.
I think this is a rambling so here we go.

This is my dog Rudo. He's a beagle. His name means love in South Africa.

Since he's a beagle he's very curious. And hungry. He eats anything. From dog food to radio cords.

If I accidently hit him or something when he licks your hand that means he forgives you.

I love him so much! He's so entertaining! I love how he looks at me when I go outside to take him back inside. He looks at me like I'm his hero.

We also say he has mascara on. Cause doesn't it look like it. I got an Egyptian dog who wears mascara. Jealous? Lol ;P

10 Random Facts about ME! AGAIN!

HEY PEOPLE! Here is another blog challenge post! I was extremely excited for this one cause I did 10 random facts about me about a month ago but forgot some of my main random facts. So let us begin!

1. I roll my tongue when I'm concentrating. I'm not ashamed about it either! I was rolling my tongue just today when I was playing this kind of hard piece on the piano.
2. I'm left-handed! COMMENT IS YOU ARE LEFT-HANDED! #proudlefthander
3. I not only give personalities to numbers but also to keys on the piano. C is like the popular one! D is liked by E and C and he's a little strange. E is kind of like C but really nice and calm. F is best friends with E and is calm. G is best friends with C and kind of the cool guy. A is very super nice! B is really super strange (ya know cause the B sounds the strangest out of the all the white keys hehe)
4. I don't like cheese on sandwiches but I like macaroni and cheese and subway sandwiches with cheese.
5. I love dry eraser boards!
6. I the summer I sleep with a sheet and quilt and a comforter. I sometimes get hot with all those though.
7. I like really unknown music bands. (Like Gardiner Sisters and Royal Tailor)
8. I LOVE 19 KIDS AND COUNTING! We also went to a homeschool conference and they were there to!
8. I have a boyfriend. MY DOG!
9. I love mysteries!
10. Lately, I've been not changing into my day clothes until like an hour before we have to leave.
